13 Best Skinny Jeans, According to Glamour Editors
Though Gen Z may have declared even the best skinny jeans dead, we’re here to report an emerging comeback. Spotted frequently on longtime fans Kate Middleton, Sofia Vergara, and Gisele Bündchen as well as the runways (looking at you, Saint Laurent and Miu Miu), it's safe to say the divisive style is here to give the ubiquitous baggy wide-leg jeans a run for their money. But this Glamour editor didn’t need a princess or Prada to be convinced. Over the past 20-plus years, I've almost exclusively worn the silhouette (though I did have a high school dalliance with flared jeans in the early 2000s).

However, with the continued dominance of high-rise mom jeans and slouchy boyfriend styles, the perfect pair of skinny jeans has become increasingly hard to come by, meaning loyalists like me have had to seek out alternative brands as many OGs moved away from their reliable slim fits to low-rise straight-leg jeans.
The good news? Skinny-fit jeans for body types from petites to plus-size are slowly but surely reappearing on the virtual shelves of Madewell and Nordstrom, to name a few retailers, but during the drought, my treasure hunt helped me unearth previously untapped gems available at Amazon and Old Navy.
From ultra-comfortable stretchy picks with tummy control that'll help you channel the Princess of Wales (just don’t forget the white sneakers and a smart blazer) and super-skinny jeans that'll actually hold their shape and everyday midrise options to wear with a T-shirt and winter boots, these are the best skinny jeans on the market—all tried, tested, and revered by our editors.
